Crin Antonescu devine presedintele PNL
Crin Antonescu a devenit noul presedinte al PNL, acesta fiind votat cu majoritate de voturi la Congresul PNL.
In favoarea lui Crin Antonescu au votat 873 liberali, iar pentru Calin Popescu Tariceanu au votat 546. 1431 au participat la vot, 12 voturi fiind anulate. "Dragii mei colegi si prieteni liberali, vin in fruntea PNL cu toate gandurile mele bune si cu toate gandurile bune ale dumneavoastra. Daca eu, un om simplu, un om normal, am muncit in acest partid vreme de 20 de ani si fara conspiratii, fara aranjamente, am ajuns presedinte al celui mai mare partid din Romania, atunci fiecare dintre romani are o sansa", a declarat noul presedinte al Partidului National Liberal in deschiderea discursului sau.
